Tussar Silk or Kosa silk is a finely textured, smooth, and golden silk is woven from wild emperor Silk moths. The dull gold texture that it radiates works as a suitable base for embroideries as well as print motifs that have been inspired by nature. Floral patterns as well as those in the shape of trees, bels, buds, leaves, and leaflets are enough to spark creativity and serves as a source of inspiration for Tusser silk. Created from days of intensive labor, this Golden beige Natural Tussar silk is porous and breathable making it cooler than other silks. Ghiccha tussar used in dhoti and sarees are created exclusively by weavers of Odisha, especially Gopalpur village of Jajpur.
